Sherlock Holmes’ eventyr

I.A SCANDAL IN BOHEMIATo Sherlock Holmes, she is always*the* woman.

I have almost never heard himuse another namefor her.

In his eyes, she is more importantthan all other women.

It was not becausehe felt something like lovefor Irene Adler.

His mindwas cold, exact, and very balanced,so he hatedall strong feelings.

I thinkhe was the best machinefor thinking and watchingin the world, but he was nota good lover.

He only spokeabout love or feelingswith a mean laughor a joke.

These feelingswere good for him to watchbecause they showedwhy people do things.
